After receiving a $400 million construction loan from New York’s Madison Realty Capital, Related Group and partners have hosted an official groundbreaking on their new landmark project, Six Fisher on the famed Fisher Island.
“The groundbreaking of the Residences at Six Fisher Island marks a transformative moment for this historic island, being the first new development in over five years and one of its final luxury real residential ventures. We’re incredibly honored to advance this landmark development, which offers a rare opportunity for buyers to secure a piece of Miami’s most coveted address. This project elevates the island’s esteemed legacy and establishes a new standard for Miami’s ultra-luxury market,” said Nick Perez, President of Related’s Condominium Division.
With only 50 residences ranging from three to eight bedroom layouts, Six Fisher will be a true boutique development in a true boutique neighborhood.
The island is famously only accessible by guard-controlled ferry or by yacht. The historical nature comes into play as it was once a holiday home for the Vanderbilt Family. Their previous mansion is now a club house where residents of the 216-acre enclave can gather for dinner, drinks, a spa day or general relaxing.
Inside Six Fisher itself, owners will enjoy soaring ceilings, expansive terraces and wide views of Government Cut, where they can watch yachts and cruise ships arrive and depart each day.
The kitchens feature a luxurious appliance suite by Sub-Zero and Wolf and elegant natural stone finishes. Primary suites are a source of luxurious peace with dual boutique-style wardrobes and Tara Bernerd-designed baths. Select units also have private pools and outdoor kitchens.
Six Fisher Residences made headlines when they did their soft launch at Art Basel 2022. Not just anyone can inquire about the project. In order to see the offering deck, you have to be invited after a pre-qualification process. Regardless of these hurdles, the project sold over $300 million (30% of their inventory) within weeks of launch.
